FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does my male dog need to be neutered to be accepted at your facility?
No. We accept intact males and are willing and able to make special accommodations (such as placing them away from other intact males) in an effort to reduce stress and anxiety in the kennel.

If my dog is aggressive towards other dogs/humans, can he/she be accepted at your facility?
Yes.  Our facility provides the opportunity for as little or as much dog/human interaction as each canine guest is comfortable with, such as barrier separation between runs and indoor/outdoor access through a door inside each run.

Do you accept cats at your facility?
No. Tabernacle B&B is not designed as a cattery, nor do we have the required permits to house cats.

What should I have prepared for my dog's arrival?
For first time cutomers, an updated vaccination record must be presented upon arrival.  We suggest you bring your pet's favorite toys, bedding, and treats to make them feel at home.  Any special medications or diets should be prepared and directions for administration should be given upon arrival.
In addition, first time customers receive a  complimentary daycare and a 10% discount on your first stay.
A daycare is recommended before your pet's first stay so they can become acclimated to our facility and realize that you are coming back to pick them up!

What happens when a pet in your care needs veterinary assistance?
Upon making the first appointment, our receptionist takes information regarding the veterinarian you normally use.  In the event your pet needs veterinary care, we will immediately contact the veterinarian we have on file for you and, depending on the ailment, make an appointment or schedule emergency care. If your veterinarian is not available we will contact a 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital.

How do I make reservations?
To schedule a boarding or grooming reservation, you may call us at (609) 268-5700.  Please be prepared with information regarding the age, breed,
medical conditions,  or fears (e.g., thunder) of your pet, preferred veterinarian, and a major credit card to hold your reservation.

Can I come in for a tour?
You are more than welcome to tour our facilities anytime during regular business hours.  Our staff would be happy to show you around the property and answer any questions you may have.
